"Boring" this is the first word I said when I first saw Demon Souls...till the day I played the game.

No pooping QTE?

The only thing i don't like in the graphics department is the animations. Why?  Because they try so hard to simulate real life that they all look a bit awkward.

Reminds me of something Miyamoto once said in an old egm interview when asked about his feelings on realistic games (it was around the big controversy Wind Waker graphics made). It's not his exact words, but I'll quote it anyway: "the problem with this kind of games is that even small things like bumping on a wall are going to look silly". That's exactly how i feel about this game. In this video, for example, you were supposed to be the caring father, but to me it looks like you're playing with retard father of the year, with all the bumpings and circles around himself.

But, other than that, I think the graphics look very nice, including the things you said, like skin textures, lightning and sense of  style (nice house!).

Yeah, it does look like home a little bit, but it's definately not as cold.

I thought it was already known that the start of the game was going to be more of a tutorial than anything. I like it, you get a chance to explore the world before things really start up.

These people keep a very clean house.....

Is that just the localization or is that guy's voice going to sound out of place like that?

I thought I was the only one! Don't get me wrong, this game looks great but to be honest, the graphics are nothing to lose yourself over. I honestly think it doesn't beat Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and God of war III in terms of graphics

hmm slightly disappointing.

I'll see if I like the demo on Feb 12th though!!
