All these expected games this year people are pumped up for, has me wondering what games are likely to NEVER get released that have had a lot of buzz behind them.  What would you say fit this? Some that come to mind are:

* Duke Nukem Forever.  Will another 10 years make a difference?

* Beyond Good and Evil 2.  I believe this title had anticipation behind it, but it looks like it has been tabled.

* Genuine sequel to Herzog Zwei.  Well, it is by me.

* Sequel to MULE.

* Final Fantasy VII remake.  It doesn't look like it is going to happen now.

Anything else I might be missing here?  This was originally going to be a joke post (feel free to go with it, like the sequel to Brett), but I realize there are titles that people wanted, and still want, that will likely never see the day.  Feel free to post seriously or not.  It should be a good chance to remember the past, and what people would want.  Also discuss what has a strong buzz behind it.

How about Starcraft Ghost?

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development. We heard something about it not too long ago.

Mine would be Dark Cloud 3 I guess.

Well, I don't know if it ever had the buzz of other games mentioned, but Sadness was a pretty anticipated piece of vapourware.

StarCraft Ghost

Like many Blizzard titles, this one was teased for 4 years, and even had a cg opening (2005) and a large portion of the game completed.
