Money can't fix what's wrong with Haiti.
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
— Pat Buchanan – A Republic, Not an Empire
It's not about fixing haiti, its about helping the thousands of kids that are still yet to die due to inadequate resources in the interim.

Donations today will have little or no impact on any short term immediate needs. The aid today will mostly be put towards rebuilding Haiti, which is one of the most corrupt countries in the world; and if the MSM bothered to follow up on this story a year from now most of the money you spend will probably be stolen by the elite 1% of Haitians who own over 50% of Haiti’s resources.
Taken from the official website. But maybe I am not a skeptic and for once believe our three most recent presidents are actually trying to do something good.
"Support Haiti Relief and Recovery Efforts
The survivors of the devastating earthquake in Haiti need our immediate help.
What we do right now determines how many lives we can save.
Together, we can help communities get back on their feet.
Fill out the form below to donate to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. One hundred
percent of your donation will go toward relief and recovery efforts in Haiti.
You should receive a confirmation email within 48 hours."

The first few days of a disaster and handled by local governments, then foreign (government) aid arrives, and then the massive charities arrive soon after; and this help lasts for months and comes mostly from resources that were collected months or years before the disaster happened. The money you’re spending today is on the recovery and rebuilding of Haiti, and in countries that have very low corruption a large portion of this money disappears because of fraud; in a country as corrupt as Haiti (it has been one of the most corrupt countries in the world as long as I can remember) it is unlikely that any of the money you spend to rebuild Haiti will go towards rebuilding Haiti.
MrStickball has set up a Facebook application to help Haiti, you complete a questionnaire and the money made form it goes to Haiti. Check it out.

Thanks for the link to it, Highway. BTW, what is your actual first name?
We've raise a little bit of money for Haiti through the program...Not enough to matter (about $10 USD), but every bit helps.
When that money does get donated to Haiti...I am going to try to ensure the money goes towards the least corrupt program out there. I've done a little bit of research, and it seems there are a few very reputable charities out there that have a high success rate with delivering aid to Haitians.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
