I think Sony Ericson sold last year 57m cellphones, and year after 100m...You would think that would be enough.Nokia still dominates and its biggest opponent is actually Apple.

Of course it would impact the net income of the join venture, but it doesnt affect SONY in any gaming related way.

hence this thread should be in the OT section. I mean is interesting as additional information, but has no relation to gaming whatsoever, and thats why I said it should be posted in the OT. I never said it was a worthless topic, I just said it should be moved to the OT section of the forums, nothing else.

A video game site which has always been as much (or more) about the business side of gaming as it is about gaming itself. Anyone who has been at VGC for a while knows that discussion about profits of any gaming-related company is a common topic. The name of the forum is not "Playstation discussion", it's "Sony discussion".

Heck, one of the sticky threads in the forum is "Blu-Ray sales".

NJ 5 man you just dont understand theese people, its only ok to post under Sony if they are posting profits and helps Sony not if they are posting losses then it should be buried in the OT.

Seriously dont give them more attention we have been doing it this way for sometime now and they just have to accept it, dont really know who they think they are? they are new to the site and allready telling us how to do stuff here?

I don't see anything wrong with the thread and NJ5 is right to post it.

The problem arises when known anti-sony members and those that don't even own a PS3 (even if they pretend to by sticking "PS3" under their avatar) deliberately seek out and post negative threads.

When the above happens it can be - as is by many - considered as flame.

The same goes for MS and Nintendo.

I'll gonna report whoever posts Sony financial result in the News section when Feb 4th comes... cause it's off topic and it will be on front page

Oh yeah. Add to that: some people pretend to be naive. "What is the matter in posting this kind of topic? It is Sony, not?" Oh, really? Trolls are evolving.

rccsetzer I see you joined the site in September. Maybe you should hang around a bit more and learn how the site works before embarassing yourself any further.
