Oh No!! It's going to have poorly designed characters, a really slow begining, bad acting, a stupid plot that miss a huge potential focusing only on 2 characters and a horrible theme song?? |
You forgot "sung by a disproportionately jawed, strangled cat voiced hag that considers herself sexy because old geezers would like to bang her and one actually does"

So you would rather he use some obscure example that potentially many people know nothing about? Halo Reach is like Hotel Rwanda, yea that sounds a lot better I think this is called reading too much into a comment. He's drawing parallels between the stories, beyond that your just speculating aka pulling shit out of your ass. Also some people in this thread need serious reading comprehension, although thats nothing new at vgchartz. |
how about Hiroshima, or Vietnam. How about these things we've had called "war"? They draw a far closer parallel and are more well known.

Are you suggesting that we knew how Vietnam was going to turn out, or are you referring to a movie called Vietnam?

No, there was no movie, and we didn't know how it would turn out.
Nobody expected titanic to sink either. We only know the story because it's history. That is why I think the parallel is being drawn for the movie market's sake, because the reference to the story being similar is like picking up two blades of grass in a field and saying they look the same.
