Something seems weird about the DS numbers.
Tekken bombed just like Soulcalibur. Namco should have put those resources to Wii versions, at least those would have a chance of selling in the west.

Soul Calibur and Tekken are much more mainstream tho
nintendo fanboy, but the good kind
proud soldier of nintopia
Great numbers for everything! PSP, DS, and Wii all >50k is really impressive. PS3 had a huge drop, but is still selling decently enough. And well PSPgo selling less than PS2... pretty sad
Well big question is does Super Smash crowd care about other fighting games ? I know that there's only minimal amount of Wii owners on sites dedicated to fighting games, so it seems that audience for traditional 2D or 3D game like this is mostly on HD platforms.
PSP already had several well selling fightning games.
Plus one thing we don't know - how easy is it to convert PS3 game to PSP? With the amount that is produced it seems to be very simple process, while for the Wii they would probably have to write it from the ground.
It's possible that even those flop sales of those PSP ports are profitable.

How many games were ported from PS3 to PSP?
I'm sure it's profitable... cause it sells a lot on PSN.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Soul calibur = Big
Tekken = kinda big isn't big enought these days
Guilty Gear = A super niche franchise filled with weirdos. Just look at their biggest title on Vg Chartz

Naruto also does really well in the west on Wii. Bleach did okay too (I wonder if we'll ever get the Treasure developed one?).
Eager to see how TatsuCap does. It's really the first Wii fighter I've been interested in.
