I am just curious to know what everyone has to pay for cigarettes in their country/state/etc...

Here in NY we pay around $8/pack and they are planning to raise it even further now.

About $4 and change for a cheap pack.

I don't smoke, and its good that I do with those prices!

Half the price I pay... NY sucks.

Too damn little. The cheap ones around here go for $3.50/pack, and I've seen the name-brand ones advertised at a little over $4/pack. Truthfully, I want NYC's prices on them as a minimum price.

Ask your city officials if they would like to swap price tags.

I quit a year and a half ago, but I still check the prices out of a 13 year habit. Name brands are $5.50 here (Minneapolis) and off brands are $5.00. I'm really glad I quit, for monitary reasons alone!

I have no idea mainly because I don't smoke (I really don't like smelling offensively bad). Off topic, but I have no idea why anyone would ever actually start smoking. There are few dumber things you could do.

Lucky me. I get to sit right next to a guy in my English class that always smells like he just came back from a smoke break.

I dont smoke... but $5 and up

Obviously not high enough since a couple of my friends continue to smoke.
