When a new console is launched I try to buy it as soon as possible with a fairly random good game to start over a new gen.

I did it since the PSone era all along to this one, and the instant I buy a new system, my old system will inevitably die. I'll play it some little here and then just for the nostalgia since the new system is backwards compatible.

This gen I wanna max out the life my consoles will have, so for the case of Microsoft,

I'll upgrade if\when a flight simulator launches with "next Natal" support.

What about you? You'll buy it day one or will wait for a specific game that completely amazes you to jump in a new era?

I buy stuff the first day they are released. This gen i waited in line 2 days to get my 360. And dont regret it. The hype that builds before a new gen is released is awesome and intense. I always love the atmosphere.

I'm with CGI on this one... Give me a at least one good game to spend cash on it at launch, and I will buy it.

When it's $250, so your options don't work for me.

That means you can only buy a new Xbox when it is at 250$, so when the console hits that price you can get it, that would be "as soon as you can"

but its hard in chicago cuz usually new consoles are release by november and its freezing here
i was outside of a cotsco for 12 hours for the 360 release
i love the feeling but it was damm freezing haha
