When a new console is launched I try to buy it as soon as possible with a fairly random good game to start over a new gen.

I did it since the PSone era all along to this one, and the instant I buy a new system, my old system will inevitably die. I'll play it some little here and then just for the nostalgia since the new system is backwards compatible.

This gen I wanna max out the life my consoles will have, so for the case of Nintendo,

I will only upgrade to a new Wii when a new Animal Crossing or Zelda title launches, and those aren't granted to launch at a new Nintendo console arrival.

What about you? You'll buy it day one or will wait for a specific game that completely amazes you to jump in a new era?

I've also thought about a name to the next Wii:   New + Wii = neWii

Just like NES and SNES. Short, clean and catchy, feels like you already know it.

I will buy the new one as soon as possible. That doesn't mean I will immediately send my Wii to the closet though, I just want the new one as fast as possible so I can touch it, play with it and sleep with it.

Twilight Princess was an exception, and it is not a "true" Wii game.

probably wont...i just feel lied to and cheated by nintendo.

I'll pre-order 10 and sell 9 when they're selling for £500 on Ebay.
