I just been trying to top-up my Mario Galaxy hype... but I can't do it, before I couldn't wait for it, but now my hype levels of fallen, I started watching the GameTrailers Review, but after watching the first 30 seconds, I was afraid their would be level/item spoilers...I'm definintly getting it next week, but I'm not as CRAZY for it as I once was... =( .... This has been happening to me quite a bit of late...

Hmmm, maybe your videogame interest levels are just waning temporarily. Ive been through that before, where I wasnt as excited about videogames overall (no matter what was coming out), then Id get interested again and buy one every couple weeks (like now).

I would chock it up to age. You're three years younger than me (for some reason vgchartz thinks that since my birthday is 4/14/88 that makes me 18... this site needs a calculator and/or a calendar) but I'd say we're relatively close age wise.

As we grow older we tend to have a harder time being excited for things that we used to be able to get excited over. If you think this is strange, just wait until you find out that hair doesn't just grow on your head!

Definitely. I've yet to be "pumped" when I buy a new game, but that doesn't mean that I don't thoroughly enjoy them. Usually, I look forward to a game after I buy it, rather than before.
I think you know whether you want this game or not. Heck, I want this game and I really don't like platformers very much.

Try switching the month and day. I had the same problem and this worked for me.
