Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Mass Effect Trilogy to finish on the Xbox 360

This is good news. We don't know when GoW3 will be out or if it'll be next gen but we know this will finish on the 360 so we won't have to wait too long. Like someone said ME trilogy 2 on 720. I think they should do the same with GoW.

Finish of the current series on 1 machine start something new on the next. This also means that the saves can be carried over for the 3rd game.

Well it makes sense, yes.

I do want to see some system mover for next gen though. A lot of people would get the next MS console as soon as a new Gears of War is available.

  • holiday 2012: new Xbox console
  • holiday 2013: Gears of War next + Forza Motorsport 4 + Half Life 3
  • holiday 2014: Halo 4 + Mass Effect next
  • holiday 2015: Fable 4 + Alan Wake 2 :D + Crackdown 3 + Jade Empire 2 :D

That would be fun as hell :D

But yeah, having a trilogy on one system is a plus.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Awesome news! I was worried that they would span it across systems, which would be sad because I'm not the early adopter type.

Off topic: How about KoToR 3 now Bioware?

ME1 was out in 2007, ME2 in 2010

ME3 in 2012

no new xbox till after 2012 CONFIRMED!

My guess goes for Holiday 2011 (about 22 months after ME2's release) for ME3.  Bioware kinda even said so.

@Dirty
Finishing the diferent trilogies on this machine makes it better for gamers then you can start an all new series off those ip's on the next gen. People will be even more curious to see what the new story line is and the devs can go all out with the new hardware.
If they have GoW3 on the next console and it's head and shoulders technically above the other 2 it could seem out of place within the story line. So in the first game you could fight 10 bad guys at once but in the final it was 100 with 20 burmacks. They might think it's just too ott and make the first two seem... restricted.

^^I really want to finish up GeoW3 before have to purchase a new console.
