Should I send my 360 in for "repairs"

So, my 360 started having problems reading discs about a week and a half ago.  I contacted Microsoft and they sent me a box (last year, the only option was to print a label and get my own box.  WTF?).  So as I was going to disconnect the console, I tried it one more time.  It worked flawlessly!  Well, almost flawlessly.  I only had to insert discs twice instead of twenty times.  I didn't have to slap it or shake it or anything.  It's still under warranty so the repairs are free (until March 2010).

Do I ship it even though it works now and MS may just ship it back and say nothing is wrong with it (leaving me without my console for a week)?

or

Do I keep playing it, knowing that Mass Effect 2 comes out next week and it may just break down again?

I would ship it as long as there fixing it for free

It would be disastrous to have your Xbox 360 quit on you in the middle of Mass Effect 2, so I'd say ship it in for repairs.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

My reply is get a ps3 but if u can't then yeah sen it to repair if I were u I would mess it up mysef so it will get a whole repair. Just think what happens if u get the game and all of a sudden it mess up and then the ges is stuck inside. I have read reviews where ppl send in games and MS doesn't return them back

Yeah. My mind is telling me to ship it, too. Maybe I should break it, first? I don't want them to get it and say "It's not broken at all. Let's ship it back!"

I would ship it before Mass Effect 2.

Nah.  I got a PS3 already (going on my 3rd year, actually).  And the problem is with the console reading discs, not trapping them inside.  Plus, there's a way to open the disc tray.  With my last 360, the customer service lady walked me through the steps.  It's pretty simple.

I 100% agree with this statement!

Guess I'm shipping it, then. I'll leave a note in the box. Hopefully somebody will read it.

lol I can't imagine you doing that. You're too much of a good guy to do such a dirty deed.
