Pretty straightforward. I pick "Empire Strikes Back". Perfect example of how a sequel should be done. What's your favorite?

Revenge of the Sith for me. Had the most action and most lightsabre fights. Plus it did a great job of tying the original trilogy to the new trilogy.
Revenge of the Sith closed the story prefectly, and had everything I was looking forward to when I entered the cinema. Gets my pick
Revenge of the Sith. Decent story + lots of action + ZOMGMODERNSPECIALEFFECTS!!1! = win
Edit: I like 3,4,and5 pretty much equally but I usually go with with 3 because I'm a graphics whore. >_>
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
Chairman, Retrasado and Zexen make me a sad panda.
Anyways, just to deter anyone from saying Phantom Menace:
(I know this guy sounds like an idiot, but suffer through his voice, the review is awesome, just watch the first and you'll want to watch the rest because he's so right)
As for the topic, I would say Return of the Jedi if it weren't for the Ewoks but since the Ewoks do exist, I'll say Empire.
Revenge of the Sith was really good for me at first, and then I realized that it was overly ambitious, with some wonky pacing and terrible acting by a couple people (Hayden comes to mind). I enjoyed it, and still do, but things like "FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THE JEDI ARE EVIL!!!" and I mean, really, most of Hayden's lines, are just bad.
I've gotta cast my vote for Return of the Jedi (even though I voted for Episode 4 in the poll, I just changed my mind). Even with the Ewoks and some of the stupid parts in the beginning (weird alien lips), the movie itself had the most satisfying finale out of any of them. When I saw the big plot twist in Episode 5, it did nothing for me. It wasn't emotional, and it wasn't delivered well. But seeing Luke letting his anger go, cutting off his father's hand, and almost turning to the dark side was one of the greatest moments in the entire series. And then Vader's death and his ultimate redemption complimented it perfectly.

eh? you might be thinking of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home there, that had humpback whales, dont remember any whales in Star Wars
OT: I love all 3 of the original trilogy films, not at all keen on the new ones, i'd probably go with Empire Strikes Back as my no.1
also, you people gotta be kidding me with Revenge of the Sith, it may have been the best of the new trilogy, but it has nothing, nothing at all on any of the originals imo
