Could WKC do a 80K first week?

Doubtful. It has 2 weeks left of pre-orders. Given trends, it should wind up with about 45k in pre-orders. *most* games that are either niche or well-preordered see about 33% of sales come from walk-ins. I think that WKC should be no different.

So it should hit 70k on first week. Certainly respectible for the title.

If the game has legs like Valkyria Chronicles, I'll be happy.

Not trying to be mean, but I don't think we're going to see many RPGs with VC-type legs. It wound up with a 20x multiplier. If WKC had similar legs, we'd be looking at it being a million seller in America along.

I believe it'll probably be closer to what Demon Souls has done on the PS3 in the West - pretty good first week, and some pretty decent legs. DS is at a 4x multiplier, and still quite healthy. I'd expect WKC to see 70k OW and 350k LTD or higher in the US.

It's game sales. At the end of the day, no sleep will be lost.

A 350k LTD or slightly higher in the US + EU sales, and this game could be close to about 1 million, which is quite good, I'd say.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

hmmm, the only reason why VC sold so well is because it's 20 bux at Gamestop. The Japanese sales were up by a lot after the game hit the Best section too.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Its crazy how the numbers have increased on the GOW III

Though its to be expected for sequels to be more frontloaded... 160,000+ difference is going to be tough to make up.

Want to make a bet? I bet ME2 will have higher sales than MAG after 3 months. The difference will be > 200k

There is no way that MAG can take on Mass Effect saleswise. MAG is gonna be frontloaded like hell. It is a shooter for the very hardcore gamer and it had a HUGE beta.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
