Forums - General Discussion - Any VGCers want to donate money to Haiti without spending money?

A lot of systems use similar schema

However, the difference is that the entire incentive (from a developer perspective) is that the program wants you to complete the offers to ensure that the charities get money donated to them.

I've had issues with various programs like this before, but I tested it out pretty extensively yesterday. I tried, and completed, 3 offers. They were all smaller ones that I knew wouldn't be majorly difficult to complete (signing up for survey websites, adding a Facebook app), but it only took a few hours for all the tasks to credit me with the points.

As I stated to Dsister and Highwaystar - the program we use has a 'view offer status' to track exactly where you are on the program to see if there was a missing step, or if its just waiting to credit your account. So in that respect, I think there is a lot more transparency with this system than others.

Around the Network

If anyone is interested:

We've added a little bit more functionality to the application. There are some new offers available for adding app of the day for 29 points which translates to about 25 cents for Haiti relief.

It takes about 10 seconds to add the app which is a pretty good deal for charity
