Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 2 more third party wii games fail with sales?

I wish we could get Silent Hill Homecoming's 1st NPD for comparison. The only thing I can find is that the PS3 version was number 10 on the PS3 top 10, 360 version didn't even manage that (but somehow Infinite Undiscovery did, lol).

We do have NPD totals through Jan 2009 though (PS3 = 84k, 360 = 73k). That's 5 NPD reporting periods, which makes Shattered Memories 40-50k 1st NPD probably not look so bad in context.

3rd party support for the wii is DOOOOOOOOMED

I don't care anymore how much/ little 3rd party support Wii gets. The important thing to me is there will always be at least a few 3rd party gems for the Wii, (like Little King's Story, Muramasa, RE4, Zack and Wiki, etc), and as long as I get a few of those gems mixed in with Nintendo's great games, I'm satisfied. This has been the case for 3 years and it will not change, no matter what happens in the future.

The sad truth is, as long as Nintendo is making consoles, no matter how much power it has, or how successful it is, it will NEVER receive the strong 3rd party support Sony and MS do (assuming Sony and MS keep making consoles too), because the quality of Nintendo's games simply scare away a lot of developers trying to compete on their console.

No, that's just another excuse. The GC showed even Nintendo could only sell so many games.

It is everything Twilight Princess hoped and promised to be. I challenge anyone to play it and not feel the same way.

I bought Crystal Bearers and regret the purchase. I even got the game 10$ off on boxing day and I still don't think it was worth it. If only Square had stuck with the origional formula. But no they had to go and ruin it by trying to make it the next Zelda...huh like that would ever happen! Instead of third person action they should have sticked with the overhead RPG styles of their other CrystalChronicals games!

Don't get into an opinion war. By definition you'll both be wrong (in thinking your opinion is superior).
