Johnson is stilll BY FAR Englands best choice for RB.
Wouldn't really fancy Luke Youngs chances in 1 on 1 situations against the likes of Ronaldo Kaka Torres etc etc etc

there's more chance of him actualy being there to tackle them though, Johnson is great going forward, but gets caught short too often, if he could improve his defending and staying back he would be a great player.

Personally I'd give Milner the nod over Ashley Young as he's played better when wearing an England shirt than Young. Also, at present, I'd play Lampard over Gerrard simply because Lampard's played more football. By the time the WC comes along I'd have probably changed my mind.
I also don't like us defensively on the right with both Lennon and Johnson. Johnson is defensively weak and Lennon is just plain weak. I've seen more body strength from chiwawa than from Lennon. Like you said though, Johnson's the best RB we have.

I can see that defence being first choice, GK again is hard to tell/decide who will/should be no.1
midfield again is pretty likely, though I think its a shame we cant find a place for Lampard in there
attack is definitley what i'd go with
i'd play lampard over gerrard to start with and bring gerrard on later when people are getting tired, that shoould give the oppo a headache and then bring on walcott to scare the hell out of them with pace

that sounds good, Lampard generally plays better for England than Gerrard does, not allways, but by and large it seems that way, hopefully the occasion will get the best from both though.
luke young needs to be played by capello to see what he is like if he wants to go to the world cup, time is running out for him, glen johnson is our best right back i think
May i remind you all that Gerrard seems to always get played on the wings? Possibly why nobody ever says he is better than Lampard for England.
Gerrard has more to his game than Lampard. Lampard scores slightly more but Chelsea get a hell of a lot of penalties. Liverpool havent been in the oppositions half's enough this season to get penos lol

definitley, he's been doing fairly well for Villa this season, I think we have some friendlies before the WC, he should get a chance in at least one of them imo.

gerrard is my fav and best england player i think, but as you say playing on the left is no good imo,
there is no problem in having world class players coming on from the bench to change things, something that england managers seem to seriously ignore when trying to fit evryone in the team, gerrard could be a real game changer
