I just got this game and have updated it 100 percent on steam. It takes about a min or two to get to the main menu, but when i go into a game, any server, it literally takes 6-10 mins to load! Is this normal? Does anyone know how i can reduce this?

It's probably your internet connection. It takes me like 3-5 minutes.

my internet connection is fast- 10mbit

Sometimes youhave to download the mods that the server is running which you dont have.

it's prolly just VAC fucking with your machine, the faster your computer, the lesser a big deal it is, that or, mods.

Update: its probably my slow Pc, i reduced the settings a bit and it loads a server in about 30 seconds lol

What's the specs of your machine?

my specs are rubbish
1gb Ram
512mb 7300gt
so i can run them in medium no prob :)

it should so not take that long

With only 1 GB memory, if you're running out due to background processes eating it up, and your computer having to swap, that would completely rape performance.
