Sometimes you get games that just try too hard.  Either they throw way too much blood and gore at your face for no apparent reason or they fill every other line with foul language.  Now, I tend to forgive games where it is part of the style, like Killer7 or No More Heroes, but what about games where it doesn't seem to fit in?  Which games do you think the developers were trying a little too hard when they made it?

I got to say, the two Army of Two games. I'm not sure if the games' style is supposed to be realistic or something, but the foul language and random head squashing in 40th Day always makes me laugh. I mean, really, how much "Fuck" can you put in a sentence? o_O

About "fuck", Kane & Lynch had plenty of that as well.

Please dont hate me for saying this, (it is simply my opinion) but........The God of War series. 

Just not my cup of tea, never really enjoyed it.  Had a lot of the (over the top moments).  Dont get me wrong, I am sure it is awesome for many.....but for me.....ehhh.    Ripping guys heads off utilizing key combinations, having sex with random chicks for orb bonuses...........

forced or not needed (IMO).

What immediately came to mind for me was the manhunt series

Henry Hatsworth. That dude looks old as fuck.

I don't care if it's part of the style or not, the "badassness" in No More Heroes is dreadful.

not saying their bad games just saying it seems a bit exessive to me
