Well REACH should outsell Halo:3 by at least a couple of million, and depending on how well Natal is received during the holidays Halo:reach could be riding a wave of momentum that could really push sales.

although Bungie will put ALOT of work into this, just like Naughty Dog does with its games, sadly it wont be biggest.. and the sad reason is an annoying franchise that comes every christmas...it has a C in it lol

I can't see Reach outsell WoW: Cataclysm, or even Starcraft 2.

I agree which was my original post really.   GT5 on PS3 will be the biggest challenge as far as HD consoles go I figure but it's limited by PS3's smaller userbase.

NSMBW, WiiFitPlus andWSR might all outsell Reach but for games released in '10 the only likely candidates would be something on Wii which we don't know enough about yet to form an opinion.   Not Metroid nor SMG2 (which I figure will get 6m).    Zelda (if it releases in '10) we know they are tinkering with and if they can make it appealing to the masses like Mario Kart or NSMBW then it has a chance of beating Halo Reach.   Girls could be a huge expansion market for Zelda.   I know my daughter loved Zelda but always found it to hard and frustrating to play.

That leaves Wii Vitality which is totally unknown.   If it's the next Wii Fit, Halo Reach may lose (but Reach will be a lot more front loaded, so it'll depend on when this game launches), if it's the next Wii Music then Halo Reach is home free.

I do think Halo Reach will beat Halo 3's first day/week/month sales  (unless it sucks).   I didn't realize how poor a value ODST was though.

Halo, being the no. 1 game played for three years in a row, declines, because it might be number two if we combine the players of three other games. Awesome.

Halo as a franchise is huge and still the game to beat on the Xbox 360. MW2 has a shot though, but we have to see.

Well I'm playing odst right now and I'm enjoying it more than halo 3 single player campaing, by the way it is at least a six hour campaign.

yea i know its multiplayer is very enjoyable lets me remember halo 1 and one of the reasons ODST got so much sales is because of the reach beta so those saying halo reach wont be huge are really dreaming. thats like saying gta5 wont be big cause prologue sold only 4 mil.

GT5 + SMG2 + COD: WAW 2 will have something to say about that. It'll sell like a beast though.
