Intel or AMD

Intel 64 43.24%

AMD 84 56.76%

Total:148

AMD gives you better performance for your money, they both make good processors, but which one gives you the best performance for the dollar, I think AMD.

I voted for AMD, if you buy the a similar Intel CPU to any AMD one, you will find that AMD is often cheaper and often faster, you only have to look at comparison tests done on most CPU's to see that.
So Yes, the past 10 Years I have had AMD for my CPU, which means I have defected to using ATi Gfx cards, which work better with AMD based Motherboards

Despite what I just said, I'm using a laptop with an Intel CPU right now :3

I bought my computer in 2007, which was the only year AMD hasn't been near competitive on price. So I too am running an Intel CPU. In all other years, that decision process is perfect.

just that ATi cards can work better on an amd based motheroard than an Intel based one, that is what I meant, it's only what I read in a magazine, so I could be wrong, as they could jus tbe  hyping it up for sales, I really don't look much into GPU statistics much anymore as I have my PS3 and don't need to worry about those kind of things any more, so it could be my fault for not keeping track of thing/s.
