"you cannot seriously say that they worked 100 percent on this, and i will go as far as to say that they do not deserve the sales, surely its a great game, but to cash in such an ammount of money for little effort is what annoys me, and it annoys me even more that people dont see that."
Sorry, I think they put 100% into the level design and controls. I don't get this "Nintendo was lazy" thing many (online) people are saying. If it was so easy to make these games, then why didn't Sony or Microsoft throw a few of these games together?
Even if they did not put 100% effort into the game, so what? In life it is the results that matter. I can't tell you how many students come into my office and complain that the grade they received does not indicate the amount of effort they put into the assignment. These students do not realize that their future bosses will not care how much effort they put into the project-- the bosses will only care about the results ("You lost the Johnson account?!! Oh, wait, it's OK because I see that you put in a more hours than your coworker").
That article should be shown in journalism classes as how not to write. Unprofessional, no data to support your position (even opinion pieces should have facts). Forgive me, I see that he did throw in one fact-- 'splosion man has 100 levels while NSMBWii has 77. I guess more is always better.
