Forums - Sony Discussion - Was devlpig Valkyra Chonicles 2 on the PSP a mistake?

I believe the developer already explained why they went PSP so no its not a mistake. I am just surprised SEGA allowed a sequel at all on a SONY system considering how much SEGA hates SONY.

Wait since when did SEGA hate SONY? Yakuza series say they don't.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

The existance of Bayonetta on ps3 confirms Sega doesn't hate Sony.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

sega couldn't very well hate sony considering that they are a gigantic electronics company that has the playstation brand as a very small part of a bigger picture. So sony could have sega's balls in a vice grip.

My name is blubeard because rosie has a blue beard. Just not on her chest.

Yes it was a mistake.

Only because I loved the first and I dont own a PSP. Biased......yes......but truthful.

Yeah, i mean honestly... it's huge that they even kept the series on PS3.  Espiecally consdiering Kenzan! wasn't up to snuff sales wise.

Sega loves everybody.

Not read the thread, but I don't think it should have been called VC2. Rather just a spinoff ..

I couldn't disagree more.

I mean it's going to be longer, be more indepth and in all ways be a direct sequel... except the graphics will be worse.

There are other games that should be relegated to spinoff status before this game.  Ones that have shrunk their campaigns rather then expand them.

we'll see when Japan sales come out. I don't know how you can say otherwise before we even know how it did. What was NPD numbers for VC? I think it was 120k. If VC2 sells similar numbers in Japan as the first one, that alone means it wasn't a mistake.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

well in Japan this is definitely going to sell like crazy in the west who knows.
