Hey, if a desperate company called Square once put together a game called the "Final Fantasy," which went on to have 14+ installment and countless spinoffs, maybe Nintendo's trying to get the universal powers of irony to work for them.

My guess is this is the Vitality sensor game. If it is, there's no way it's a JRPG. Unless it's a very accessible JRPG anyone can enjoy.

I remember hearing about this before. Isn't it supposed to be their big RPG answer to Final Fantasy? I might be thinking of Monado, but I'm pretty sure it's not.
There was a rumor that Matsuno ended up at Nintendo and was making a game with Monolith prepped as a "final fantasy killer." One theory is that this is that game.
With a name like that it's not hard to imagine it as a 'take that' to FF. Matsuno didn't exactly leave on good terms.
