Is this a legitemit reviewer?

This would be great news for me if I thought there was a chance I'd play it.  My brain talks the talk when it comes to games like this ("go on, you could play it for three hours every Sunday"), but I never actually succeed.  I played the first one up to a point where I had to find some generators within a time limit (yes, 30 minutes in), got bored and gave up for a year.  Then I tried it again, did a few errands in a futuristic city, recruited a couple of teammates, thought "this is actually really cool".....then put it on the shelf, where it's been sitting ever since. 

Just to emphasise what a pathetic slave I am to good intentions, I've had ME2 in my basket twice this evening as it's £36.99 on HMV.com.  I think I just drifted away from RPG's and I can't find the way back - if someone told me I had to play Shining The Holy Ark again, one of my favourite games ever at the time, I'd probably break out in a cold sweat.  GamesTM 10's are far from plentiful too remember, it's not just EDGE (if it's EDGE at all these days....), so I'm betting this is a super solid space RPG shooter that I'll buy at some point and never appreciate. 

For those unfamiliar with GamesTM, it's a pretty high quality British mag.  They're generally not OTT with their review scores, and over the last few years, if memory serves me correctly, they've quietly given out less perfect scores than the previously miserly EDGE.  They gave Assassin's Creed 4/10 though, which was a bit of a 'look at me!' score, but I wasn't a fan of that game anyway so meh. 

I can't wait to get my hands on this!

Jesus Kung Fu Magic; actually, I think this years GOTY will be Starcraft II on most sites.

These RPG based action games are too time consuming for me and just not that fun for some reason.

I canceled my splinter cell preorder today as well and moved it to Dantes Inferno. The more I see that game the less fun it looks...

Just cause its an xbox360 exclusive doesn't mean I have to buy it and play it right :)

The more I see this the more I am intrigued, I must admit ME2 does look great for the X360
I think it will definitely be one of the choices for GOTY, but PS3 exclusives look too good again this year, there is just too much competition to deny

Yeah...my taste in games says nay for those two for some reason. They take themselves way too seriously for my taste.

I have Alien vs predator, crackdown 2, alan wake and dantes inferno on preorder now. May cancel dantes inferno and move it to something else...what else comes out soon? Sonic all star racing? :)

I love shooter and I like RPGs. So a RPG/shooter mix should be the best experience for me, but I didn't get into the first ME. You know it looks great, all of the people are loving it, but somehow, I have some problems with it. I can't even point out why.

But I hope the other Xbox 360 owners will have a great time with it.

Unfamiliar with the publication, but I do expect healthy scores across the board for this. I will be getting it day 1 for sure.
