And the previous ones were only mildy successful.

It's the playing together component.  People travel outisde their homes and meet at spots to play the game with friends.  This cooperative spirit is encouraging communication like the link cable did with Pokemon back in the day.  Apparently the Japanese have really taken a liking to it because of that.  And the game is pretty solid, by all indications.

How many days before releasing did Kirby finally appear? Anyone remember?

I don't care about Kirby, because if it sells as much as Kirby, I'll consider it a flop.

Honestly, I never thought it would do Mario numbers, but a lot of people seem to have been convinced of that.  You can't make that assumption just because DK has been big in the past.  It's been a while.  I think it's safe to say it will do better than Kirby but will fall quite a bit short of Mario numbers, which I thought reasonable all along. 

Don't worry bud, not everyone can hang with that damn plumber. lmao

I didn't though it would do Mario numbers. But I expected at least 250K FW.

I still think there's a good chance it will.  This will be a decent gauge of what people still think of the old monkey lol.  I wouldn't panic just yet.  I can here his footsteps...

I think it depends on what you mean by flop.  People who thought it was doing NSMB Wii numbers are clinical.  What did you expect? Way above Kirby I imagine?

Nah, you're still good.  If it wasn't a Ninty game, I might say you're screwed, but we've seen this a number of times.  Ninty games casually strolling into COMG late, saying "Oh, were people expecting me?" and then going on to leave games that have been on the list for weeks in the dust.  lmao. 

The 2 million might be a lot tougher than the FW, that seems reasonable.

Anyone wanna give a shot at the lauch week for MH3P, now that we know final COMG numbers?  I wanna say over 2 million, but Capcom might not have even shipped that, according to some.

And if capcom underships maybe a fairly large amount of people will buy it from PSN. Sadly we don't ever get seperate PSN numbers though. Only combined numbers when capcom releases their financial data.
