Forums - Nintendo Discussion - MegaMan Zero Collection DS

Holishit!  Move over MH3 and DQIX, there's a new GOTY in town...

DS owners will have a chance to sample a different form of Mega Man/Rockman in just a few months as Capcom brings Rockman Zero to the system. Not a new entry, though. Instead, Capcom will be bundling together the GBA Rockman Zero games on one DS cart titled Rockman Zero Collection.

Rockman Zero is a series of 2D platform games akin to the Rockman X series of titles, but starring the Zero character. Capcom brought four Zero series games to the Game Boy Advance between 2002 and 2005.

All four of those titles will be present on a single DS cartridge for Rockman Zero Collection. Capcom will be asking ¥4,190 for the collection.

Aside from the four GBA titles, Capcom has not mentioned any bonus content for DS players. The company did open an official site for the collection, so perhaps more details will be forthcoming there.

Look for Rockman Zero Collection on April 22.

The MMZ games are worth playing, but they're depressingly easy.

I thought the Original was somewhat challenging( remember the fire Monkey boss that attacks the base?? he was strangely my most difficult boss for some reason), but it got easier with each with each installment..in the Original you had to really think about using your Cyber Elfs because they die or whatever but in every other installment it was more leniet to allow just equipping them for, or ZX4's weather system( but it had consequences).

I must have just sucked at the first one, then. That game kinda whipped my ass.

That or I got lost. It's been a few years.

Probably the latter.

The crowning moment of fail in that series for me was in either MMZ1 or MMZ2 when I fought the final boss and beat it without taking a hit.  I was waiting for it to morph into its next/harder form when the game end began.  I was literally in disbelief because the concept of defeating the final boss of a Megaman game on the first try without getting hit once is staggering.  Granted I grew up playing the Megaman games where you could put as much time into figuring out how to beat the final boss as you did getting there in the first place but still...

awesome, Iv yet to pick any of these games

1 was tough if you didn't use Cyberelves (so you could get the super secret Bass elf).  Not MM9 hard, but probably harder than any other MegaMan I've played (evil MM8 cyberbike sequence excluded).

I can't wait to play Megaman Zero again! I finished Z1 but I didn't find any of the other games.

I am very pleased about this. Now i don't have to hunt down all 4 of the original GBA carts. Mega Man ftw.

How technical is your game?
