This information comes from a Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom print ad...

"Each time you win a match, you earn points to increase your rank and earn titles(much like an xp ranking system). Our system also indicates your fight style, either offense-oriented or defense-oriented. This will help to enhance the excitement of trying to anticipate your opponents move." - Ryota Niitsuma

From Go Nintendo

Basically confirms online, an experience point system and battle style icon for each person.

That's awesome! I wonder what will my fighting style be?

I am a Breakout Bat.
I am an abstract sort of creature, who dislikes any sort of restraint. If you try to pigeonhole me, I'll break the box, and come back for more. I don't have any particular ambitions, I just drift, but I am adept at keeping life going along.

hopefully the winning one, right?!

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Just hope plug pullers/disconnecting gets the opponent a loss or some sort of punishment and a win for you if you had more health when it happened. I can't stay getting a no decision, or even worst, a loss when I had more health when the guy pulls the plug and rage quits.

It's just that simple.
