I said I dont believe GoW3 will out do Gears graphics by alot (it might) but it will have more action going on than Gears will.

@Garnett : those screenshots are miles ahead what Gears could produce, get real... Or is it stealth trolling ?

put it this way, gow3 will have better grafix than gears, check gow2 on th hd collection it looks so good it puts many ps360 games to shame, its clear the arttists were way ahead of what could be done on ps2, in hd it looks stunning, with gow3 they will set new benchmark im certain.

just a little time left to see which has better grafix

Im sure it will have graphics that are just as good if not better than Gears 2. I realize GoW1 and 2 were some of the best looking PS2 games but then so was Black which was arguably better, or even Resident evil remakes on the GC.

Those screen shots are NOT miles ahead of what Gears is, now both are good looking games but neither one is miles ahead of the other, im sure GoW will surpass Gears....But not by miles.

Wow.... I thought U2 would have been it for the PS3 in terms of graphics but this blows U2 away..... far away. And I don't think this is the final build, still plenty of time to smooth over a few things. Can't wait to see what Sony has to top this at E3 2010.

also, comparing 2 games using screeshot for one and ingame video for the other is all but fair IMO

Oh come on....Gears 2 although looked good is still graphically behind Uncharted DF....and we are not even including K2 and U2.  GOW3 is looking every bit as good graphically as U2 and may even surpass it technically.

For anyone to compare GOW3 to Gears 2 is just plain stupid.  It looks a generation ahead...and I'm not just talking a software generation ahead, but a hardware generation ahead...its just so much more graphically and technically, that it can only be mentioned in the same league as U2, K2 and Heavy Rain IMHO and most peoples opinions.

look at the demo : it is not "jaw dropping" gfx according to many, there is more aliasing etc ...

Personally, I expect the final game to outclass ANY game on console in term of gfx
BUT, FOR NOW, I dont have true evidence so I prefer wait before making poor claimn like : it is better than Gears !
