I'll accept the fact that Square enjoyed the money job they got to crap all over the loyal PlayStation fan base.

But I won't accept the what they did to Final Fantasy XIII. I'm going to remain loud about this topic. What Square did pure bull s***

Well, I'm gonna guess you've yet to play ff13 so don't kick em just yet, it might still be stellar. I personally I'm not holding my breath but that's just me. Besides, as we're never gonna know what would have happened had it remained exclusive, no point jumping the gun.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

The same people who say "Boycott _____ game because it has slightly worse textures than the other console"

Real loyal...

Garnett, I've overlooked alot of what Square Enix has done with Final Fantasy XIII.

The numerous delays, the multiplatform announcement, etc.

But I won't overlook the fact that they are trying to sell a game, that in it's final condition has less than half of content they already had running on the PS3.
Overall game balance and volume is not something has ever been concerned with. They have always pushed the hardward passed it's limits. Yeah I'm sure the exclusive version would have had stuff, but no where near more than half the damn game.

I understand that but how can you blame the Xbox 360 for it? Do PS3 owners not buy DLC? There is a PSN store right?

Honestly there just gonna cash in with extra money, for 80-120 bucks you get the FULL FF13 game. This is NOT because of Xbox 360.

You're joking right? Please tell me you, after hearing what I've said.....you honestly think I'm going to pay even more extra money for a game that already had it in it.

I've bought many games off of PSN that didn't sell well. Critter Crunch, Noby Noby Boy, Piyotoma, Everyday Shooter, Cuboid. So yes I buy PSN content.

Again, what specifically did they have to do to make the game inferior so it could run on 360?  Cut down the content, again, they gave the reasons for that, and the 360 was not one.  Final Fantasy Games have released on more than 3 disks before on playstation, why is that all the disks the 360 can handle now?

Hawk if I had time to hold your hand walk you through everything Square has done to the PS3 user in regards to Final Fantasy XIII I would already.

I will however point this out. FFXIII in it's current form fills 3 dvd's. That's a little over 7gb's per disc. Not even enough to fill a single layer Blu-Ray Disc. Square cut over half the up and running content (people, places, things, etc.) from the PS3 version to make it equal with the doomed to be inferior 360 version.

What is so hard to understand?

Both PS3s and 360s were being used to show off the game, which was great as I was able to see both versions running side-by-side. As expected, the 360 version was noticeably less crisp than its PS3 counterpart, but it still ran nicely.

there? I dunno.....but the recent "cut off half of the game content"and the reports of how linier FF13 is no towns,NPC etc actually connects.

Well I for one agree with the stuff that rynx said about FF XIII, not all of what he said but some parts are true.

I am not saying that the Xbox 360 doesn’t deserve to have it or isn’t powerful enough to play it or whatever. All I want to say is I am a big fan of exclusives. Why?

Obviously because exclusives will always and I mean ALWAYS (ok depends on the developer but still :P) be better than a multiplat.

So I do believe that the product we are receiving is inferior to the product we were promised all those years ago, and it also delayed the final product. I for one feel this way. Why?

Well because I remember when the crystal tools engine (Can’t remember if that’s the name :S) was announced they said that it was a really advanced engine designed to take full advantage of the ps3 and blah blah … talking and talking about how FF XIII would be superior to everything we had ever seen and ( this was a big AND) it wasn’t possible to put the game on Xbox 360.

So after seeing the screens and all that crap, what do we get ? a superior product ?
Don’t know :S but in the mean time we got MGS 4 , Killzone 2 , Uncharted 2. Games that have come and gone but they showed the world the power of the Ps3. Now had they been multiplat would they be as good =? Maybe, maybe not.
Would they sell more? Probably!

Does that matter ? Depends ...
