Well regardless of how (un)hackable the ps3 is, the numbers don't lie, 360 in terms of sales is superior to the ps3 and ps3 fans are notorious for their varying taste in games whereas 360 fans are more predictable, if you cater to to the garunteed individuals, you're more likely to get more for your money especially when you consider the 360 is easier to build for.

Less work+ more returns= win.

Is the basic gist of it.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

First, saying the content removed from FF 13 was because of the 360 is pure speculation. Also, to be robbed means that something was unlawfully taken from you. If FF 13 was released with the content on the PS3 and then a patch came out after you bought it and it removed the content, then you would have been robbed. Only listing 2 games for your argument also shows how weak it is. Square is out to make money and the only way the 360 version would sell is to make it equal to the PS3 version, and you can't expect a company to make less profit to make you feel that the PS3 is superior. Square is also making Versus 13 for the PS3 so there's really nothing to complain about.

I still say don't blame MS for anything, if you want to blame anyone blame SE, they are the ones who decided to do it eventually.

Made all sorts of claims and storylies my particular favourite is porting of ff13 to the 360 won't begin till the ps3 version is finished yet we had a pretty version available at E3 '09 to name only 1.

I think the days of 3rd party ps3 exclusives are coming to an end I would Vs13 is the real last one but I'm not even sure that's 100% exclusive.

Best to just shrug and accept rather than be moody.

i didnt blame MS. im blaming sony and those who pratice 'console equality'.

If u didnt look up this stuff on the internet u wouldnt care, you would probably be happier and more satisfied with the game

I don't think Sony charging more for games would be good for their sales. There may be people that don't have to watch what they spend, and there may be people that are younger and don't have to pay for their own games that the cost doesn't matter as much too. But Sony already hurt for releasing a console far more expensive than their competitors.  Not everyone is willing to pay top dollar for an unnecessary luxury.  Even if the games on PS3 were as superior as you believe, not having a competitive price with the competition would just hurt Sony.

it be a great idea. if it costs 70$ to ensure my game will have uncompressed, richer auido and video formats, and longer contenet ill do it. i dont get why 360 owners are paying 60 dollars for theirs??

That would be like living in the Matrix

You've benefited rather than lost from 'console equality'. Honestly if there wasn't such a big stink put up several years ago you would still be playing substandard PS3 ports, or not playing them and missing out.

Also you're assuming that the games actually need to fill the Blu Ray disc, when infact most games fit just fine on a smaller disc. I once looked at the Xbox 360 install size comparisons when I was considering buying that console and most of the games came in under the 6.8GB limit. If they needed more space they would have filled out the Xbox 360s disc first, right?

again its debatable. add those who arent buying your multiplatform game because you are compressing and removing files to keep them equal as its competitor and also the fact that you can not pirate games for the ps3 yet. dont you think there's a slight chance if this is true sales for the ps3 version of games will exceed the 360's? console equality after thinking about it not only hurts consumers but also the developers

Why settle for busting your gut to make a game for a console that has the least amount of owners only to get small change when you can port to a higher install and getting high(er) returns? When you are catering for a higher audience on an easier machine, folks are more inclined to work harder to maximise their product but if it's on a harder machine with lesser audience number...the insentive really isn't there to bust a gut.

Just because the "audience number" is lower, doesn't meant it won't sell more, and even without Japan, FFXIII will sell more on PS3.

the content was on the ps3 disk and running till it was removed exact words from Square. so i was robbed. also they didnt use the words but from the words and sentences they did use you can tell it was because of the 360 limited DVD space. i can list more games. rising, tekken 6, FF13, i can name more but im not 100% sure of two more i want to name. ican also list companies who admitted to 'console equality' kanomi, square, capcom, EA, ubisoft. which can put any of their games on my list
