You know the Wii overreaction, where people move the Remote in a huge arc to swing a tennis bat when a small flicking action will do?

Natal will be much worse.

Isnt that the purpose of the Wiimote? why would you want to just do little flicking action, you might as well just sit down or lay in bed and flick the wiimote instead of standing.  Its not overreacting, its just getting into the game as it was meant to be.

Not everyone is smart enough to realize they only need to flick their wrist.

In wii tennis, the trick to fast serves was timing. However, in my family, I was the only one to figure it out. My father in law strained his shoulder a bit because he was swinging his arm faster and faster to get the serve. When I told them it was timing, they kept saying "no no, it's power". lol

I have all these anecdotes because my sis in law brought the wii to the cape with us while we were staying in a family friend's house. The livingroom was kind of small, maybe 13 feet by 8, or maybe even smaller. There were a lot of casualties that day. lol

O.o That's a very scary thought....

imagine all those houses out there with guns in them. Would a kid use dad's gun to play RE or MW on Natal?

Hrmmm i could use my mag to play RE O.o  and uhh my friend can be the zombie on the screen? hrmm.....

I don't think people would shoot each other because of gameplay. In fact, pointing to someone else doesn't correspond well to Natal because you wouldn't be looking at the screen if you turned.

Rather it could become something might entice kids to use/handle a gun where they might not beforehand. Additionally, even without an "accident", it may acclimate kids to the role-play of using guns because of the immersiveness of the tech tracking all your distinct movements and gestures.

You guys are missing something. The whole plastic Wiimote accessory industry will find all new life with Natal! Except instead of them all being Wii white they'll be a lovely shade of Xbox green.

another one, how do you get to the main menu?

LOL

another thing how would you navigate a menu

say in a RPG, if I wanted to equip armour or get potions, would I HAVE to always pick up the item

how would the items be stored, if they are just as words "potion, x-heal, elixir"...will the NATAL system be accurate enough to know which one I pick up?

Damn. Going to have to lock my gun closet when my girlfriend gets her Natal. If I dont, she is going to shoot me with my Desert Eagle.

I can see this causing MS a bit of a headache. Just wait till one of the higher ups in the Gaming Division "accidentally" falls out of the 15th story window.

If people are playing around with real guns with Natal, it is best if we let natural selection take place.

Was a jest.

But for NS to work properly, they could only (and should only) kill themselves.  Im alright with that.
