98 is a LEGENDARY status hardly ANY games get at all...you ened LUCK & need to come at the right time to do that

Another reason why I wouldn't put such an expectation on it.

yeah, its just so hard to get there, ye know 1 stupid 6/10 can make you loose 98

games that are so high have LUCK more than quality imho (ofcourse they have quality in droves too)

i dont know what are trying to say by "higher standards", GOW and GOW 2 got rated higher than Bayonetta ( 360 version ), so what makes you think GOW 3 wont be?

Not a chance in hell. 91 at best, in my opinion.

It just won't have the same incredible impact that the first had, by nature of not being the first.

98 is pretty much legendary game status, Bioshock had a unique formula. Bioshock 2 only improves on the formula, not really making a drastically huge change. This game getting a 96 or higher will shock me.

Bioshock 2 will be much better than Bioshock 1 but it wont have higher metacritic score. same goes to super mario galaxy 2
