Well shouldn't they start advertising it then? They did well with UC 2 and other recent ads, let's hope they don't drop the ball. MAG's only 2 weeks away.

only a few of the game modes were available in the open beta....as well as upgrades, weapons and levels. not too mention everyone was newbish, and clans didnt have time to develop over the short period....
Because the game is so team based its gonna take time before the game really starts to reach its full potential. Get in a clan and buy a headset and you will not play any other fps on Ps3 |
What are you talking about. the beta had all the upgrades, weapons and maximum level cap.
Zipper seems to like patching the game so maybe we'll get some new content via patches and DLC. They could add more equipment, skills, clothing, maps, weapons, etc.
I'm making a clan with a few mates and we all have headsets. :)
Sorry but am I missing something? MAG a system seller? most of the previews and "hands on" articles across the internet have been very negative about the game so far and both betas put a lot of people off the game (including me).
I could be wrong though but seriously, a system seller? okay then.....
Won't be making me buy a PS3...
Already have 2 of them!
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

hmmm, maybe along with GoW 3, GT 5, The Agent, Modnation racers, The last Guardian and Heavy rain :)
If SOCOM: Confrontation didn't make the hardcore PS2 SOCOM fans buy a PS3 then MAG will.
Not sure about this. Given how long the 360 and PS3 have been out now, with lots of online shooters, etc. I'm guessing there can't be that many people sitting around for whom this game will provide the tipping point.
At this stage I more see MAG as a good game to keep PS3 weekly sales at a decent level of demand and keep people who like a certain genre interested in the console.
Still, we'll see soon enough.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
Make me personally buy a Playstaion 3? Ummm, no. I hate online-only and online games in general, and the only "special" about this game is its ability to support up to 256 players. Booooring.

I'm guessing they weren't specifically thinking about you...
The only people I can see MAG bringing in fresh are any SOCOM crowd who didn't fancy the new SOCOM and were waiting to see what Zipper delivered with MAG. Otherwise, if you were in the Beta then clearly you have a PS3 and if you want a PS3 and like shooters/online then presumerably one of Warhawk, Resistance, SOCOM, Killzone 2, CoD4, MW2, etc. etc. etc. already convinced you to get one.
