The Halo Universe and Bungie's ability to keep the game light, fun, and detailed is why I love Halo. The new art direction/graphic engine is just icing on the cake.
Will you still love Halo if it plays more like Killzone 2? | |||

Seems with the recent additions of a supposed sprint button and a melee button that will represent a knife attack(?) if I read correctly sounds like more going the way of Call of Duty in some respects while keeping the Halo controls tight.
It's just that simple.
I would not care because I love killzone its my favorite FPS, But I also Love Halo. A Halo game would not be Halo if it played like Killzone. They should keep Killzone the way it is, and they should keep Halo the way it is, but if they made some Killzone like changes I would still like it and buy it, and play it a lot, but it may not cure my halo itch.
Well I've never actually played K2 so I don't know if I would like it or not, but I still would want Halo to be roughly the same controls as Halo 3. Every other shooter feels like a step down after playing Halo.
No I would not like to see it play like Killzone 2 or any other shooter for that matter. I like the way Halo plays as it is and the uniqueness it brings.
No. I like Halo because they keep the gameplay simple. I disliked Killzone 2, because the gameplay was too complicated.
SHMUPGurus said: Oh wait, it's a different Halo, sure, but I know it won't be another KZ2 alright. They said recently, if I recall correctly, that on the screen they can have 40 A.I.s all around and more than 20 vehicles at the same. That's quite something! Like any typical Halo, I believe the vehicles will be an important part of Reach. With that said, it's probably only the graphics that will change, oh and maybe the customization on your character and stuff. Halo 3: ODST was darker than previous Halo games, but it wasn't as successful as the other Halo games because it didn't have a multiplayer component of its own. Plus, the campaign mode was a hit or miss. The hub is really really boring, sadly, and the missions are not long enough. It was a nice little game though, but I believe it was hard to justify buying an "expansion" for 60$ with the same Halo 3 multiplayer experience. |
for the red are you smoking weed or something.
for the bold if you played it alone it was alot of fun and it tink most people agree its better than halo 3 campaign you just need to play it alone and i love the audio logs.
It costed $49 dollars here even we got it 2 days before release so its not full price.
correct same halo 3 multiplayer experience to different halo reach beta experience.
Hmm Halo is arcade while Killzone is about real warfare...
It should remain the same with come CoD-esque additions and BAM, there's your shinny 8 million seller guaranteed.

Hmmm, maybe I didn't explain myself good enough. What I really meant about the comment in red is that maybe only the graphics will change to look like KZ2, but they've already done that with ODST a bit anyways.
Also, I find it hard to believe that people preferred the ODST campaign over Halo 3's. It's such a different playstyle with the Rookie... I dunno. I don't think it wasn't worth playing, but let's just say I liked it better on co-op.
Lucky you I guess. Still, a lot of my friends thought it was a bit overpriced and I recall a lot of people here saying the same thing. Personally, I can never pay enough for Halo, but what can I say, there are some weird people on Earth!
I guess the extra bucks I payed for ODST will be worth it because of the Halo: Reach beta. Can't wait!
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

They didn't add a sprint button. The sprint that was described was an ability that could be picked up and used. Stealth was another one.
