Well I can deal with GOTY choice but I would have chosen either Assassin's Creed II or Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. But either of the three are good choices.

But that's not what I take issue with haha. First and foremost, how best story went to Uncharted 2 is just beyond me. There are loads of better choices, namely Assassin's Creed II. I think they just gave it to it in similar fashion that Oscars give out some stuff. But I don't agree with it nor their choice for it in overall excellence in sound. Second best strategy game being Halo Wars over the likes of Empire: Total War is frustrating. Finally best downloadable game I would not have given to Shadow Complex. Fat Princess or Flower or Splosion Man seemed like better choices to me.


Other than that I think it was a pretty good list. And no I didn't spoil the GOTY.

OH yea and almost forgot to mention that overall best shooter I personally just disagree with off the back. But my nominee isn't even there which is Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. It's hard to be the underdog that no one played and win these awards haha. Unless the award givers are but crazy for you like they were with World of Goo last year.

Incredible graphics? Incredible story? Well the first is supersceded already for Uncharted 2 so you can't take the points they gave the game for 'most incredible graphics' back as there are more incredible graphics somewhere else and as always stories are over-rated. Most video games have poo stories and the ones that do usually don't give you more incentive than to finish the game once. Gameplay is what brings people back and I bet NSMB will age far better than this apparant game of the year winner.

this guy hasn't beaten uncharted 2's story or multiplayer.
