I still say Wii will be out 6 full years before the successor comes.

Nintendo may not want to release a new console, but the market decides what they do.

2 more years of Wii success and I figure some third parties will be looking at next gen and going yea... let's not move there yet.

Unless their really suicidal. Unless next gen does not include UHD.

If they had any new systems they wouldn't tell you it is coming out haha. That's how you kill sales of the system you have on the market. Just PR for now. They may have new systems coming they may not but we'll just have to wait and see.

Why would they? They have the top 2 selling consoles at the moment

What do you expect Nintendo to say? "There's a new system coming out pretty soon"?

That could only hurt the sales of the Wii.

and then the next day, your stock holders will fire you for having no business sense.  you NEVER release anything newer than your hottest item, until the compettitions is going to start beating you.. (well I'm not sure about never, but it makes sense to me)

If I had the 2 fastest-selling most unique most innovative systems of all time completely blowing away the competition, I would ABSOLUTELY make them obsolete as fast as I could by introducing more expensive superior hardware, so I could be on an even playing field with the losing companies, and hopefully win back some fanboy developers with ULTIMATE GRAFYX!!!!
