I think even the true believers underestimated how well this game would perform. I expected the game to clear 10 million at minimum, and I was prepared for it to sell 20 million+, but I wasn't expecting 10M to get here just two months after release.

It is all due to nostalgia. Nintendo is really lazy. Anyone could do a game like that. The only reason it sold like that is that it has Mario in the title. How can a 4 player game lack online? We should be able to play with the princess.
Screw that there should be a NSMB Wii Bingo.

No it does not. It says mario sold 520k and MW2 644k on week 7. But whatever, neither of those games hold the record for week 7 sales. GTA:SA sold 700k on week 7 and even more on weeks 8&9.

Inside or outside of America, NSMBW has outsold MW2 on a single platform (even outsold both versions WW).
