But what exactly is NeoGaf? Is it just another gaming forum or more? Because i see it quoted here in the forums a lot in terms of news and stuff.

Plus looking at the thread about Bayonetta, those dudes have some issues with VGChartz, yet they cannot provide better data. Did we hurt them when they were babies?

Yeah, totally true. Not in the short or mid-term at least. But I bet they will change their minds in years to come. VGChartz rules so hard that they will have to admit it.

No, it really doesn't. Your point seems to be that the battle for second place is between the consoles with the best games, and while it's certainly imaginable that this is very true according to whatever value set you use to quantify library quality, it's also blatantly untrue of an equally large demographic.

Your definition of "gamer" is too narrow.

Both the Wii and PS3 are still heavily supply constrained here in New Orleans.  We get shipments every few days and sell out within an hour.

Both consoles are currently sold out online at BestBuy.com as well. In store pick-up is not available for either, while the 360 is in ready supply.
