SE wouldn't want to offer a DLC for a RPG.....it would mess the story up good, make it hard to follow etc. Just admit it that SE is doing this so that you won't have to have 4 dvds for the MS version

I'm sure they will. Super Final Fantasy XIII Redux confirmed?

No, it would mess the whole thing up. What would you want to do, download the DLC stuff for $10 or $15, then start at the beginning and wade through storyline and a million monsters that you've played against before, or at the middle of the game where the "new stuff" starts? Either way, it totally disrupts the story. You need a coherent start and finish but this DLC stuff won't provide that.
Now I'm beginning to fear that the bashful articles I've been reading recently were true....
This might have been sidequests that were cut for volume issues that they say. Maybe making it linear than usual.
Whatever... I don't have the JP copy of the game. So I really can't tell. Verdict will come out this year so might as well wait and see if the bashful articles were true.
right blame the 360...don't blame PS3's lower userbase and high development costs this gen. It's all the 360's fault.

what can you expect, kotaku fans are 360 fans.. you will rarely see a playstation fan on there..
I heard Microsoft told square they could only use 3 discs for the game. This is just something I read, take it as a grain of salt. I am guessing that is why they took out the extra content, that and the promise they made saying that both games will offer the same exact experience, including visuals, length, and everything really.
Also for the DLC people, no there will be no DLC, square confirmed that DLC will not be released for FF XIII.
this is what happenes when you decided to go multiplatform....this game was gimped the day it was decided to be ported over to the 360...they may never admit it, but with factors such as this and the game having to be on 3 discs for the 360 and the ps3 version having to wait to be released when the 360 version is ready all point to a game that could have been a massive genre changing ps3 exclusive, to another " lets make both games identical " next gen JRPG....SMH in disgust.

How is having a lower user base have anything to do with the fact that an entire game's worth of content was taken out of FF XIII.
Hmmm. . . lot of leaping to conclusions going on here. I'm not going to say anymore, because I want to play some Killzone before bed (yes, I'm giving it another chance), but people made up a lot of stuff right away that wasn't in the article. Wowzers! It's almost like people were just waiting for an excuse to say "M$ ruined this game!" (Which is what I guess actually happened)
