Forums - Gaming Discussion - [Kotaku] There Is Enough Discarded Final Fantasy XIII To Make Another Game

SE has been very lazy, whilst some features were obviously cut from the game because of the multiplatform issue, really SE could have done better, they have become greedy because of Wada and now milk FF instead of making quality titles.
I am hoping Nomura(and his team) will fix this problem, as he seems to be the only one left who understands the meaning of quality, and how to make a proper FF.

it's the future of handheld

wow, thats no good...hopefully it doesn't end up muddled storyline-wise

Hope SE to add these content back to game when releasing international version.

It's probably going to still be a great game, but since the "coming to 360" announcement a couple of years ago, this game has been getting so much hate. It's actually killing my excitement for the game.

Maybe there is some thing to do with"coming to 360"...

right blame the 360...don't blame PS3's lower userbase and high development costs this gen. It's all the 360's fault.

And we should totally ignore how abysmal JRPGs have been on the 360 right? Right now PS3 is looking like the system for JRPGs to go to.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Not great timing for SE to make this comment I'd say. It's not going to end well. A fair number of PS3 owners are going to assume:

a - that its because of BR in PS3 vs DVD in 360

b - that its because SE want to milk the content as DLC

c - that its because they have a deal with MS both versions have to be the same

d - SE are 'bad'

e - some combination of all of the above

There decisions might have been purely to produce a better game, but this wasn't the best information to decide to share as few people are likely to consider that might have been the reason.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

this is OBVIOUSLY gonna be DLC guys

FF13 DLC might be the first one I buy!

I hadn't thought of that, I honestly thought they were just chopping stuff out so that they didn't have to put it on 50 disks for 360

Just watched the latest trailer on Xbox Live. I'm excited about the game again. From now until March 9th, I avoiding threads like this. No matter what kind of press the game gets, most of us are going to buy it anyway. I'll make my own decision when it comes.

Are the viral marketers preemtively turning the Xbox 360 into a victim so people can't criticize it?

Well, I thought I heard everything.

Excuse me but that's not going to work, at least not with me or anybody I talk with. The 360 has had legitimate problems, and fewer criticisms. You're not going to change that, eventually it will reach people who know it's a foolish idea. Stop, just stop.
