So, by the words of some Microsoft important guys, there's no need for hardware upgrade, the 360 is here to stay, Natal will carry it even longer than forever. Fact.
Now listen to this:
- The PS3 is 3D capable.
- The Wii is not, but, according to recognized and qualified analyst Michael Pachter there's a new Wii right at the corner and it will be 3D capable because some Nintendo important guys said just upgrading to HD wouldn't be enough. 3D for the Wii Plus it's a given.
- X360 will remain here not being 3D capable while PS3 and Wii Plus will "give us some orgasmic 3D graphic games popping out of our TV's and your 360 cannot do that."
Conclusion: X360 is doomed.
Theory fix
I didn't really checked if the 360 is 3D capable or not, I think I've read it somewhere. In the case of it being 3D capable, consider it as not being so this thread makes sense. Thank you. Happy posting.

i dont believe one bit that the 360 will be around 10 years... the console is obsolete. yes, you can enhance the life cycle of the 360 with hardware/software but that means more money on peripherals that people will not buy into with MS rediculous pricing. yes, you can implemet these things into the 360 and release a new SKU but that also means bumping up the price. here's what people dont know. the ps3 is 3-D capable through firmware meaning no extra cash to purchase a 3-D ready ps3. the ps3 wand will be purchasable seperately and for 39.99. while MS Natal will cost nothing less then 100-150$ and if they include it into the 360 you can expect a price bump of 399-499 and you still have to buy seperate accessories (battery recharger, wi-fi, etc) and if they add 3-D it'll have to be through hardware not software like sony so expect the price to bump up more. thats why in my opinion MS hopes 3-D does not catch on. everything is already built in the ps3 so all sony has to do is release firmware and for only 299, while the 360 has to have external accesories: wi-fi, blu-ray, natal, battery recharger, and you telling me this will last 10 years? the console at times cant even past 6 months. the ps3 truely does everything. at this point it's all about advertisement sony has to make the public aware that they dont have to drop extra cash to truly enjoy the ps3 unlike its competitor. because to truly enjoy the 360 you will most likely have to invest 800 dollars with all the add-ons and fees (live, netflix).
for those who dont know:
for 360
want to watch blu-ray movies? okay buy the 360 external blu-ray drive rumored to cost 100-200$
want to go online wirelessly? okay buy an external wi-fi adapter for the 360 for 100$
tired of wasting money on batteries? okay buy the 360 battery recharger pack for 30-50$
want to increase your hardrive size? okay buy a MS license 360 harddrive for 100-200$
want 3-D? okay buy the external 3-D ready peripheral for the 360 for X amount of cash they charge
want to play Natal? okay buy it seperately for 100-200$
want to play online? monthly subscription
For sony
want blu-ray? built in blu-ray drive
want to use your blu-tooth headset? ps3 is bluetooth enabled
want to go online wirelessly? ps3 has built in wi-fi
dont like buying batteries? the ps3 controllers are rechargable via usb
want to experience 3-D? ps3 will be 3-D enabled via firmware
want to play using motion controlls? the ps3 wand is only 39.99
want to play online? it's free
And MS seriously wants me to believe their console will last 10 years compared to Sony's? HA!
