So, a lot of people are starting to get hyped for Gran Turismo 5 (and a lot of people have been hyped ever since the launch of the Playstation 3 ). With that in mind, I was wondering where people think GT5:P will end up in totals sales. Naturally, I'd expect it to die once GT5 launches (even more so than most other games, seeing as people won't buy GT5:P after playing GT5 to "catch up on the story" or anything like that). So, where do you think that GT5:P will end up in lifetime sales?

I think we can assume that it is probably in the 4.25-4.3 million range (based on Polyphony Digital's website + sales of the game at retail since the last update on their site). I think it's possible that the game will reach 4.5-4.75 million before GT5 launches, but that it will slow down massively just before GT5 launches. How about you? Where do you think it will end up?

Also, what games do you think might exceed GT5:P's sales on the PS3. MGS4 is practically guaranteed, but what else may yet do it?

It'll break 4.5mil (physical + digital) and then GT5 will come out and Prologue will be dead in the water.
