no i skipped it. I was planning to play it, except about 10 seconds in (i.e., when they start shooting people) I thought to myself "this isn't much fun..." and "how unrealistic is this...people would be running MUCH faster"...and I didn't really want to kill anyone as it wasn't fun (and felt sick) so I just paused the game and skipped it, and glad I did. Call me whatever you will lol (in fact please do, I'll get even more of a laugh out of it[YOU]).

I kept dying because I'd shoot Makarov and his men.  I couldn't help it.  Took me forever to beat the stage because I was determined to find a way to kill the bastards.   And no, I never shot anyone else.

When I first went through the mission I didn't. After the end of the mission I thought to myself, now here is a cool possibility for alternate story path. So replayed mission where I 'acted' like one of the terrorists. Got the same ending, which was lame.

Same here. I didn't shoot anyone and like you wanted to shoot the terrorists. As for approve of it, I don't dissaprove let's say. It's within context of a (far fetched) story and it has happended in real life and featured in movies in the past.

I'm sure there are plenty of real life double agents who have witnessed and perhaps even taken part in killings with those they are spying on that they'd rather not have been a part of.

Yes, I shot them and didn't care. Just like when I strike down some pixies or gorgons in Heroes of Might & Magic, these are virtual beings and don't instill feelings in me no matter how controversial the developers tries to make it.
I didn't care about a single figure in this game, not even my own teammates or my own character.
This is probably fueling a lot of fires for people who are avid supporters of the "if you shoot people in games you're gonna end up killing someone in real life" theories but I think its all bullshit.
If you can't separate fiction (polygon fiction at that) from reality, you really have no place in the normal world, any and all impressions can be potentially devastating.

I killed everything I even used the grenade launcher to shoot down the chopper, and I thought it was hilarious , even the ones crawling away I did the evil kefka laugh
