Then if someone elses "watches" any game, instead of playing it, that gives them the right to properly review that game? Then why does any reviewer actually plays the game before reviewing it ehm?

You can watch all the games that you want, that doesn't give you even a slight idea of what the game really feels like. That's why they're called games, and not movies :P

I guess so. But I never said otherwise. I just said that for top lists Meta is a higher authority than IGN or clusters of the VGC community.

i agree with this if it were to be metacritic, but IGN gave demon's souls a 9.4 and rpg of the year...obviously it deserves a top 15 spot at the least....this is too low for demon's souls......not only that, but mabye you should play these games, then give an assessment...demon's souls is imo is better than any other console rpg anyone (besides JP) has played this gen

Im probably gonna pick up Demons Souls when I get a Slim and play it myself but I doubt it's near the quality of Dragon Age or Fallout 3. Not to speak of Oblivion - the best game ever created. Can it be played offline without an internet connection BTW?

fair enough, but it really depends on what you want, dragon age and fallout are amazing games, but the gameplay of demon's souls if off the charts fun and addicting, i haven't touched fallout 3 (or many other games for that matter) since i started playing it. 

 

yes it can be played offline, but its way better online, with hints and optional co-op

Yeah, I believe you may be right. Actually I don't think Demon's Souls should be compared to many other games, not even most RPGs since the experience seem to be so different.

i have 4 out of the 5 and i haven't been disappointed.

these games seem kind of low though.
