Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rainbird, Wii owner. Wanna lend me some knowledge?

I love www.coolshop.dk The name is cheesy, but it fits, because they are fucking awesome. They have A LOT of the games you guys mentioned here from new

By the way, can anyone tell me if I need anything for playing GC games? I assume a GC controller is recommended, but do I need a memory card or anything like that?

if you want to save your GC games, you need a GC memory card. Even though they are expensive, I suggest buying an official Nintendo one rather than a 3rd party card. I have a 3rd party card and it goes blank on me every so many months.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Alright, I'll stick with the official ones. Thanks

When playing GC games on the Wii it is best to forget the system is a Wii at all. It functions identically to a GC with a new start-up screen. If the GC would need it, then so will the Wii. Stupid and annoying for a system with built in memory, but such is life.
