I LOVE GW, but I don't know if I'll get this mainly because in GW, you get your own area when exploring and I like to do things alone or with just with friends. GW2 will be more like a nornal MMO's and I don't like normal MMO, cause most people are annoying in them.

off topic: you know what's annoying, some poeple will spend $15 a month for ONE GAME (WoW), but they can't spend $50 A YEAR for xbox gold membership FOR ALL GAMES. THose people that spend $15 a month for WoW and complain about the gold membership are hypocrites.

No, however, I have my eyes set on Tera online.  Looks very, very interesting!

OH MY GOD!!! thats for PC only or?...

the graphics are too good for it to sell to a wide pc audience

Agreed, it wasnt directed at beating WoW or even Guild Wars 2 for the matter.  The art design just really appeals to me and my gaming rig should be able to handle it.  Looking forward to giving it a go this year.  Right now it is PC only, and probably will remain so.

^- nooooo! want on the dual HD consoles nao! the action in this game is amazing!

Traditionally, MMO games do not get released for consoles because of the hardware requirements of 100+ person raids in zones ... Most PC gamers are atleast somewhat willing to admit that their PC is inadequate if their framerate falls to 2FPS whereas most console gamers would be pissed.

Aion it's a already a better game =), WoW it's too casual.

Lots of people have old PCs and laptops that won't run this.

yeah good lad, well they need to upgrade their pc/laptop. the game is over 5 years old

That's the thing.  They don't need too.   Even 10 year old PCs will run virtually anything you want - except games.  Same with laptops.

Most people only upgrade when their old one stops running, and to the lowest model on the market.  The vast majority of PC owners aren't buying them for games and won't pay hundreds more so they can.

WoW can still serve all those people.    This game can't and for that reason alone, it won't overtake WoW.

I can't get into the whole MMO craze. I can't imagine sticking with the same game for so long. And considering that you have to pay $15/month, you're probably going to feel obligated to play that game on the regular at the expense of your other games. I also dislike the general attitude of the MMO gamers community. Many MMO players treat MMOs like a job as opposed to something you do to have fun/unwind. Your party member(s) scream bloody murder at you because god forbid you made a mistake and got them killed. I don't need that kind of BS. I play games to escape from reality, not to expose myself even more to the seedy underbelly of humanity than I need to. It's no wonder why gaming geeks have such a negative reputation in society. Because many of them are anti-social jerks who believe that acting like an aggressive jerk online will compensate for their lack of masculinity IRL.

WoW has kept my love for 4 years now...and I'm by no means a "pro" Wow player.  I've got nice epic gear, and Blizzard has done a masterful job keeping the game fresh.  Take for example the latest dungeon finder add...this is probably the most refreshing add to the game ever...I've been running thru dungeons like crazy since they added it, and that's the blessing of a MMO.  I look at it like I did with Fallout 3's DLC additional content...it totally extended the game, and that's kinda replicating the MMO model.  As a developer/publisher, which spend massive amounts of resources to develop a new game, when you can add DLC, and extend the current game?

I'm not saying don't develop new games, but with DLC, as a developer/publisher, you are not on a revenue treadmill to keep solvent, and you can take your time and deliver new games that are indeed improvements over the last.  I'm hoping that Mass Effect 2, for example, have alot of DLC, kinda like Dragon Age will.  I WANT to continue my experience, in continuing the story...

^This. Nothing can touch that.

lol not that vid. i dont see the point in them to up the graphics when 95% of the players cant castle seige with out shift+f12  (for those you who havent played aion before what that does is make all the players invisable and only able to see their names). Yes lets makeit where they cant even seige at all! also after playing many mmo's i learn to never be hyped on tese whats going to be ingame in ur future videos cuz their only so u keep paying to see this stuff that will be added a year at least later or half of it wont even make it in game.
