Wii JRPGs You Intend to Buy

Arc Rise Fantasia 26 20.63%

Tales of Graces 58 46.03%

Monado: Beginning of The World 11 8.73%

Fragile Dreams 28 22.22%

Shiren the Wanderer 3 2.38%

Total:126

Which of these five JRPGs do you perfer to buy first?

I didn't include Dragon Quest X cause that'd probably win by a landslide (I hope).

Although I'm really excited for Tales of Graces, I think I'm going to go with Fragile. The combat won't be too fantastic but the story seems original and cool.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Probably Monado, since Monolith brought me joy with Baten Kaitos. Fragile, maybe, the game looks pretty awesome. The others I have zero interest in, at this point.

Tales of Graces > Arc Rise Fantasia > (not sure if I'm even going to buy these) Monado >= Fragile > Shiren (not getting it at all)

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

I will definitely buy Tales of Graces as well as most likely buy Arc Rise Fantasia. I would have definitely bought Fragile but it happens to be in a busy month so I might not get a chance. And the other two are questionable.

...

well if i every decide to use my Wii, i guess the only one ill get is Tales of Graces and maybe Dragon Quest X whenever that gets released

When i eventually do get a Wii, Graces fer sure, for richard alone.

Tales of Graces is a definite day-one buy for me. I'm interested in Monado and Arc Rise Fantasia also and will probably pick those up. The other two I don't know anything about.

Fragile possibly shiren the wanderer.

Maybe Tales, maybe Fragile, but in all likelihood none. I am way more likely to buy DS jRPG's than Wii ones.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

I am having a hard time waiting for Tales of Graces.
Fragile and Arc Rise Fantasia look interesting, and so does Monado as well, but the second on my list is Monster Hunter Tri.
