So, the games industry revolves around you, does it?

Ironically, the flood of shovelware clones that happens after every successful 'casual game' are usually not so profitable. Look at Ubisofts financials when they were flooding the market shortly after the success of Nintendogs. They make so many which don't sell too well and they just burn themselves and retailers.

Diversity's good for any industry, and it's vital for videogames if we're ever going to grow out of the current limited demographics. Look what happened to comicbooks if you want to see what happens to an industry that stagnates with it's same dwindling audience.

If not for DS/Wii, the industry today would be looking at pre-crash levels of decline.
