Forums - Gaming Discussion - 5 remakes gamers would pay extra money for.

I don't think any of those would sell very well expect Final Fantasy VII.

There was a Killer Instinct for the N64.
Wasn't there a FFVII game released for the PSP?

It's a prequel to FFVII.

So is the OP wanting a) a new game released with the same theme b) The same game with a graphical upgrade or c) The same game on a newer platform?

All great choices for remakes.

As far as FF7 goes, I think the smartest thing Sony could do is work with SE and get a FF7 remake released at launch for the PS4. If it was a really good game (heck probably even if it was only mediocre), I think we all know who would win next gen. Well ok, Sony would have to keep good software coming out afterwards, but recently they haven't had a problem with that.

Not sure if this is serious or not, but the majority of consoles aren't exactly FF-driven. They never were.

Anyway, I dunno about paying extra for, but I think many of the PS1 titles could use remaking, even if they're not my top favorites. It has some of the worst looking games ever, mainly because early 3D games just look... bad.

No, I was being serious.  I'm just saying that the mixed hype for a FF7 remake, plus the hype of the next PS4, would just bring in a lot of customers.  And if Sony was able to follow that up with other awesome software, then they would pretty much be untouchable.  Though there are other factors to that, the most important one being price.
